Program Overview
This program is a quick, fun, and affordable way to combine learning with international travel by examining recreational therapy from the perspectives of the communities and cultures of Australia. This course will provide students with the opportunity to learn more about themselves, their beliefs, attitudes and behaviors while experiencing a different culture and learning about global health care issues in another country. This experience enables developing self-awareness, comfort with international travel, learning about universal cultural themes, global health issues and particularly the care of older adults.
