Program Overview
Join us on an enriching journey to Italy, where you will gain firsthand experience in understanding how different cultures approach health and wellness. Based in the iconic city of Venice, you'll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the rich tapestry of Venetian life while exploring the complexities of global health through a culturally proficient lens. You'll travel by train through a series of day trips to four neighboring cities to witness the diverse ways social determinants shape health outcomes. Between these insightful excursions, you'll have plenty of free time to explore art, culture, history, and opportunities for free time. This trip offers a unique opportunity to deepen your global health perspective, focusing on real-world healthcare challenges and how cultural practices influence well-being. Venice's blend of historical and modern healthcare practices is the perfect backdrop for this transformative learning experience.
