Program Overview
The goal of this program is to explore human development across the lifespan from an international perspective. We want to provide students in the developmental psychology program with international human development experiences to witness how other countries approach child and adult development. Included in the trip would be visits to child and adult day care centers, University visits for discussions on human development in Iceland, and rich experience in cultural immersion with museum visits and nature excursions.
Enrollment in an associated spring 2024 course is not required for this program. As such, students are not eligible to explore financial aid eligibility to offset the costs associated with this program. In addition, graduating seniors are not eligible to participate in this program unless they will continue their enrollment at SRU in credit bearing summer courses or an SRU graduate program in the fall.
This program will be capped at 20 student participants. Applications will be reviewed in the order that they are submitted.
