Program Overview


This faculty-led program to Italy and France is open to SRU's Jazz Ensemble members and Chamber Singers only.  In July 2020, The group will travel throughout both countries while attending and performing at famous jazz festivals along the way. Further information  about the program is available from the individual faculty leaders, Dr. Jason Kush and Dr. Christopher Scott as well as the Office for Global Engagement located in Spotts World Culture Building-Room 002C.

Costs


An international student identity card fee of $25.00 will be due upon application. This program is not associated with an academic course. As such, participants are not eligible to use financial aid to pay for program costs noted below. ​

Estimated Costs: Between $3,398.00-3,598.00 (estimated cost as of September 2019-final cost to be determined by final enrollment numbers) 
Cost includes:
  • Round trip economy class flight on Delta/KLM 
  • Most program activities/site visits and excursions
  • In country transportation
  • Shared accommodations in 4-star-centrally located hotels
  • Buffet breakfast daily at hotels
  • Some additional lunches and dinners
** We recommend an estimated $600.00 in personal spending money to cover meals beyond breakfasts and incidentals including personal shopping. This estimate is determined by previous student reports of personal spending and may vary by participant.**
