CEA CAPA Paris, France – French Language Studies at Institute Catholique
(Outgoing Program)
Want to optimize your language learning by taking all your courses in French? Enroll in this immersive program, designed for all French language levels. Small class sizes and a broad liberal arts curriculum enhance your experience, allowing you to take elective courses focused on French culture and history. Language courses are offered at a range of fluency levels and for a range of credits. The Institut Catholique de Paris - Institut de Langue et de Culture Française faculty specializes in teaching French to non-native speakers, and you'll attend class with other international students who wish to improve their French proficiency.

The Institut Catholique de Paris, a private university founded in 1875, is located in the 6th arrondissement within walking distance of the Latin Quarter, Saint-Germain-des-Prés, and Montparnasse. CEA students enroll in courses with other international students at the Institut de Langue et de Culture Françaises (ILCF), the Institut Catholique’s center for French Language and Culture. Students will receive a transcript from the Institut Catholique de Paris upon completion of their program.

Students must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 to study abroad, however, some SRU international partner institutions may require a higher GPA
There is no class level requirement for study abroad at SRU
Disciplinary files will be requested from the Office of Student Conduct, for each applicant, and will be taken into consideration during the review process.
Please make sure to check with the Financial Aid (if applicable) for academic and other requirements that pertain to potentially receiving aid during your study abroad experience.

Once you have completed all required items, and your application has been reviewed and approved, you will be instructed to begin an application directly in the CEA application portal. Please do not begin an application with CEA until you have been first approved by SRU.
