Program Information:
Students can experience a semester rich with history, vibrant food, and diverse entertainment in a place that has become one of Vietnam’s key cultural, trading, and education hubs — Ho Chi Minh City. Its central location in Southeast Asia makes it a great hub for visiting nearby destinations like Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Singapore, and Malaysia. Study in English at a contemporary university with Vietnamese classmates and international faculty!

Program Highlights:
  • Enjoy time with your “buddy,” a local student who will show you around
  • International faculty members enrich your classroom experience
  • Just over an hour's drive outside the city, you can visit Vung Tau beach for tan skin, fresh air and sunshine
  • Vietnamese culture is distinct: a fusion of Chinese, Japanese, American and French cultures
Academics:
RMIT University Vietnam offers programs from business and management to design, fashion, and engineering.  All CISabroad students will enroll in Culture and Context in Vietnam, an exploratory course designed to introduce students to Vietnam’s history, culture, and society.  See more course options here.

Student Life:
RMIT’s facilities are comparable to many small “western” campuses. It has typical learning facilities like modern, smart classrooms, a library with both hard and e-copies of learning resources, and an academic support center. Additionally, to support the social side of attending university, there’s a large recreation complex, several food and coffee outlets (even a Subway on campus!), a campus health center, and intramural sports, clubs, and activities organized by the student union.
