Program Information:
Make the most of your winter break by traveling all around Europe. Spend time in Rome, Aix en Provence/Marseille, Paris, Prague, and London while earning academic credit for your university back home. Gain a deeper insight into everything that Europe has to offer. 

Here are some things to expect while on this unique program:
  • Backpacking Europe– Have you always wanted to backpack and see everything in Europe, but never had the time? Now's your chance to explore the best that Europe has to offer while on your winter break.
     
  • Explore wonderful cities - All of the cities we visit are well-known and beautiful, full of rich history and culture. Snap photos of the Eiffel Tower and Big Ben, all in one day. 
     
  • Focus on gaining academic credit – Take classes based on what you need to transfer back for academic credit. Courses are taught by professionals in the field and combine an on-site aspect to the traditional classroom setting. 
Location:
Experience a wide range of European cultures while backpacking around. Visit four countries and six cities in the next few weeks including Rome, Paris, Aix en Provence, London, and Prague.

SRU Program Requirements
  • Students must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 to study abroad, however, some SRU international partner institutions may require a higher GPA
  • There is no class level requirement for study abroad at SRU
  • Disciplinary files will be requested from the Office of Student Conduct, for each applicant, and will be taken into consideration during the review process.
  • Please make sure to check with the Financial Aid (if applicable) for academic and other requirements that pertain to potentially receiving aid during your study abroad experience. 
To apply for this program use the green 'Apply Now' button at the top or bottom of the page.  You will be prompted to log in after which you will be directed to the SRU study abroad application forms and other requirements. Once you have completed all required items, and your application has been reviewed and approved, you will be instructed to begin an application directly in the CISabroad application portal. Please do not begin an application with CISabroad until you have been first approved by SRU.
