Program Overview


This spring break program is a quick, fun, and affordable way to combine learning with international travel by examining the field of Physical Therapy from the perspective of the communities and cultures of Ireland.  Further information is available from the faculty program leaders, Dr. Sue Kushner and Dr. Nancy Shipe as well as the Office for Global Engagement which is located in Spotts World Culture Building-Room 002C.  Students participating in this program must enroll in PTHT 710: Clinical Experience II in the Spring 2020 semester.

Apply for your passport Immediately upon application

Airline reservations confirmed Mid January (airline fees are non-refundable once confirmed in January 2020)

Costs


A non-refundable application fee of $125.00 will be paid at the time of application. The application fee covers the cost of an international student identity card ($25.00) and $100.00 non-refundable administrative fee. Applicants are responsible for meeting with Financial Aid in 107 Maltby Center to determine financial aid eligibility to cover program costs noted belowFinancial Aid eligibility cannot be guaranteed.​

  • Basic International Travel Insurance
** We recommend between $500.00-$600.00 in personal spending money to cover meals beyond breakfasts and incidentals including personal shopping. This estimate is determined by previous student reports of personal spending and is only intended to be an estimate.**
