Program Overview


Programs are pending final confirmation by the host program/host university and the ability for students to travel to and enter their host country.  Travel restrictions will be monitored and the program status will be communicated to applicants during the application process. The University of Physical Education is located in Budapest, Hungary, and is one of SRU's exchange partners.

Program Requirements


  • Students must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 to study abroad, however, some SRU international partner institutions may require a higher GPA
  • There is no class level requirement for study abroad at SRU
  • Disciplinary files will be requested from the Office of Student Conduct, for each applicant, and will be taken into consideration during the review process.
  • Please make sure to check with the Financial Aid (if applicable) for academic and other requirements that pertain to potentially receiving aid during your study abroad experience.

Accommodation and Meals


Students will live in on campus housing at the majority of our SRU international partner institutions. Meals are on your own. A limited number of institutions offer host family programs (meals included) or off campus housing. Scholarship monies for housing and meals may be available for this program. Please contact the Office for Global Engagement for more information about available scholarships.
